These are the final pictures after completion of the conversion.
The final Ready to fly wieght of the plane is 13 pounds with the 2 26 cell packs of CP1700s. At full throttle on 26 cells the current draw is 75 amps per motor or a total of 3900 watts. With this much power the plane accelerates and flys with great authority. I am currently rethinking the power set up. To run on 2 22 cell packs. This will cut the AUW weight and make the plane easier to manage on take offs and landings. |
