In and effort to lighten the flying weight of the plane and improve the efficency of the fans. I redesigned the jet nacelles and inlet and exhaust for the fans. The original kit supplied parts did not fit the minifan 480 very well.
The intake now matches the diameter of the minifan housing. The original was smaller in diameter and restricted air flow into the fan.
The exhaust is made out of .010" thick aluminum flashing. Surprising enough it is lighter than the styrene part that came with the kit. The exhaust cone now butts up against the fan housing
