Wemotec Midi Fan Installation

Fan housings were epoxied into ply ring to make a two fan assembly another ply reinforcement was epoxied in between the fan housings in the back. This whole assembly slides into the former and rear duct flanges, then the Ply ring is screwed to the former using 4 screws. ESC'S sit on a removable door under the fans.
These show the two access hatches removed showing ductwork, servos, linkages and batteries. The red nyrods and center servo controls the rudders and the nose gear steering. The Taileron servos are on each side in the back access area above where the Main wheels are retracted.
There are 2 10 cell packs on each side on the front bay
This picture shows the rear ductwork, and how it necks in to clear the taileron pivots.

The first section from the rectangular plate is the Midi fans shown in place.
This is a view of the rear ductwork. The tail cone opening has been changed to 80% FSA. Tail cone fingers have been slit to take different duct sizes.
